Hòa 14g bột gelatine với 100ml nước nóng, khuấy đều cho gelatine tan hết. Tương tự hòa tan 60g đường với 100ml. Lấy 1 tô khác, cho 400ml nước cốt dừa và 100ml sữa đặc vào, khuấy đều.

Cho hỗn hợp nước cốt dừa và sữa đặc cùng đường vào tô gelatine, trộn đều. Sau đó chia ra làm 2, nhỏ vào một tô vài giọt phẩm màu tự nhiên, khuấy đều.

Đổ lớp màu trắng vào khuôn, tiếp theo đổ lớp màu hồng lên trên. Có thể thêm bao nhiêu lớp tùy ý. Miễn là cứ một lần đổ thêm một lớp lên phải để trong tủ lạnh ít nhất 15 phút cho đông lại. Cuối cùng để trong tủ lạnh 2 tiếng là có rau câu dừa bắt mắt thơm ngon để thưởng thức kèm với trân châu.
