GM ecotec 2.4L exhaust manifold

Packaged well, comes with exhaust flange nuts and heat shield screw, manifold to cyl head and flange gasket. I read a lot of reviews that the replacement manifolds cracked after only a short time so I broke the manifold in gently, By that I mean, after installation I verified everything was right, and started the engine for about 1 minute and then shut down. I let it cool until it was cool to the touch, about 30 mins. I did this a few more times progressively going longer, and then went around the neighborhood gently driving it and came back and let it cool. Then it was ready for my wife to race, I mean drive it. Worked great. So far it's been a few months and no issue yet. The only problem I had was the crush gasket that goes on the outlet flange was damaged. It looked like the box had been dropped in shipping and the weight of the manifold dented the crush gasket. Luckily I saw that before I was ready to install and I had one on order for when I was ready. I'm sure they would have replaced it but I though for the few bucks it would be quicker to re-order vs do a warranty ticket. Still way cheaper than the local parts stores. So check all the contents before you are ready to install so you can either ask them to send you another or buy it.

Was worried buying aftermarket, but the OEM piece cracks, and sure enough this fit like OEM and works perfectly. 2012 Equinox. Great value. Giant pain to remove and install, you never actually see a single not for the head flange.

Save time and but a new upstrem 02 sensor.

Manifold, manifold gasket and ring gasket between gasket/converter were all a good fit. Good idea to buy pcv valve, and air filter since they will be easy to replace once you take off all the parts needed to get to the manifold. Buy upstream o2 sensor to save time, the sensor was impossible to take off and it ended up being broken. Part is made in china, but seem like decent quality.

Smooth install, holding up so far.

I filled the parts where other reviewers said to, but it didn't look necessary when I installed it. Everybody went smooth, and the wife is happy. I'll update if it breaks.

I installed this on a 2012 Equinox and it fits perfectly. Quality looks as good as the oem manifold which is notorious for cracking so this may not be a plus, was hoping it would be a little heavier.
