Works Great!
With this item you do not need to purchase a T-Ironing board, it works great with the V style boards. It's also nice to get the board off the door and hang it on the wall behind the door. I recommend this item if you're looking for a holder that works with V-style boards!

great for iron and Bosu
I bought this to hang my iron board behind my door. And it works perfectly, then I found out it is also perfect to hang up my Bosu balance trainer so I bought another

Keeps the ironing board out of the way but convenient to access
Previously had our ironing board just angled against a wall in a long, under the steps closet, but it was pretty much always in the way. This allows us to store it out of the way, but it is still easy to access. Most ironing board hangers seem to be set up to also store the iron. We didn't want that, so this solved the problem nicely.

Great solution to a problem
Having the over-the-door hanger for our ironing board solved a problem we had with space. I flipped the ironing board backwards, so the metal legs wouldn't hit the door every time we opened and closed the door. It works with the ironing board hanging in either direction.

Yes, Virginia, people do still have ironing boards!
My ironing board has been leaning against the wall next to my bedroom door for decades, and I adjusted to not having my bedroom door completely open because of the space it took up. I recently had to buy a new ironing board, much to the amusement of family and friends who don't believe anyone still irons, and I opted for the in-your-face, can-it-get-much-bigger-than-this, Brabantia 49X18 model. It wouldn't fit behind the door, so I thought I'd (finally!!) try the hang-it-all approach. The new ironing board is a Y-leg, and I wasn't sure it would work with this hanger, but, with the fabric-top facing into the room, the legs stay secure, there is no wiggle, and I can open my bedroom door almost to the wall! The device fits the 1 3/8" door well, with a bit of room to spare, and although there is a bit of resistance, I can close the door completely (which I rarely do). I almost cannot believe what a neat job this does, and for $7.50, it's a laughably affordable, decades-long problem solver. Yay, Spectrum!

It Works!
I took a chance (yep, throwing caution to the wind) and bought this holder for my full size ironing board. I got tired of it falling over from boredom in the closet so I figured I could secure it to the wall of closet. This way it would not only be organized, but people would also think I use thing....hahahahahahaha! Guess what? This holder actually works! It's a breeze to put up and holds the board in a minimal space! It will hold both type of legs for ironing boards so no worries there either. If you actually do iron and will be taking it on a off the holder often....do use wall anchors unless you're lucky enough to find studs in the wall. I used wall anchors just in case someone in my house ever gets the urge to iron....better safe then sorry!

Perfect for placing ironing board out of the way
Not every person wants the iron/ironing board combo. Here's why. If you plan to store your ironing board on the wall with one of those things, you'll have to mount it low enough that you can reach the top to get the iron. That means the board will hang low enough to get in the way. IKEA had an iron only holder for $5. It's perfect. I keep it separate from the board. This way I can hang my board out of the way and higher.

Unfortunately products like these are not found in general retail stores
We live in a condo that is approximately 1200sqft, every little bit of space we can recoup is a necessity. Unfortunately products like these are not found in general retail stores, luckily Amazon carried this item. With my prime shipping it was at my doorstep in a flash! Simple yet sturdy product, I would make sure to utilize stronger drywall anchors if this product isn't going directly into the studs. Great buy, cost effective, and easy to install.

I wish we had purchased this a long time ago!
We have a Shark professional iron that is pretty heavy (& presses well due to it's weight) and it along with our "T" type ironing board fit on it perfectly keeping them snug! This pretty well made little space saver has opened up sooo much space in our laundry room & for us it keeps anyone from bumping into the ironing board thus knocking the iron on to our tile floor! Super Love this item! =)
